Cancellation Policy
Version 2.0
This policy applies to bookings with The Allana Group Pty Ltd (ABN 66 685 656 697), trading as Subhan Rental Services. It forms part of the Rental Agreement.
1. How to cancel
Cancel by telephoning 0432 639 096, by WhatsApp, or by emailing subhanrentalservices@gmail.com. A cancellation takes effect when we acknowledge it, and we will acknowledge it promptly.
2. If you cancel before pickup
If you cancel more than forty-eight (48) hours before the agreed pickup time, we refund the booking confirmation payment in full.
If you cancel within forty-eight (48) hours of the agreed pickup time, we may retain the booking confirmation payment. We retain it only to the extent of the loss we genuinely incur by having held the vehicle off the fleet for you, and never as a penalty. If our actual loss is less than the amount paid, we refund the difference.
3. If we cancel
If we are unable to supply the vehicle you booked, we will offer you a comparable vehicle or refund the booking confirmation payment in full, at your election. If the failure to supply amounts to a major failure under the Australian Consumer Law, you may also be entitled to compensation for any reasonably foreseeable loss.
4. If you do not collect the vehicle
If you do not collect the vehicle at the agreed time and have not contacted us, we will attempt to contact you. If we cannot reach you, the booking lapses twenty-four (24) hours after the agreed pickup time, and clause 2 applies to the booking confirmation payment.
5. Ending a rental early
The minimum rental term is one (1) month. Ending a rental before the end of that term does not entitle you to a refund of rent already charged for a period during which you had the vehicle. Rent paid in advance for any period after the vehicle is returned is refunded.
After the minimum term, either party may end the rental on seven (7) days notice under clause 11 of the Rental Agreement.
6. Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service is not supplied with due care and skill, is not fit for its disclosed purpose, or is not supplied within a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of this policy.
7. Complaints
Please raise any concern with us first on 0432 639 096. If it is not resolved, you may contact Consumer Affairs Victoria on 1300 558 181.
