When you need seven seats

The Kluger is the car for weeks when five seats are not enough: visiting relatives, a weekend at Phillip Island with the kids' friends, or regular school and sport runs for a larger family. With the third row folded, the space behind the second row becomes a long cargo area. All Kluger Hybrid grades, including the Grande, use the same 2.5-litre hybrid system with all-wheel drive.

• Size: it is a large car. Allow extra room in multi-level car parks and narrow streets.
• Rideshare: Uber's Melbourne page describes UberXL vehicles as 4-door SUVs or large passenger vans seating six to seven passengers plus the driver. With seven seats in total, a Kluger seats six passengers. Eligibility still depends on the specific car and Uber's current rules.
